What are smart devices?
Before you start, it is good to know what smart devices are. Smart devices are (generally) household appliances that are connected to the internet. Think, for example, of a smart TV or a watch that measures your heart rate. But your printer, router, smart thermostat, smart doorbell or smart lighting are also well-known examples. Many of these devices can also be controlled remotely: you can set the temperature in your house before you get home, or see who is at your door when the doorbell rings.
