Peugeot 208 (2021). New Pack versions and end of Business

Peugeot is reducing the number of finishes for the 208.

Peugeot is making a few clean cuts in its 208 range by eliminating the Business versions. Pack variants of the Active and Allure models are making their return as equivalents. Prices for the city car start at € 16,200, an increase of € 300.

Peugeot is cleaning up the range of its 208. The latter loses the Business variants of its Active and Allure finishes, replaced by Active Pack and Allure Pack versions, which are making a comeback. Despite some price adjustments aimed at smoothing out the differences caused by this reorganization, the city car with the lion recently saw its base price increase by € 300 and now asks for a minimum of € 16,200.

The optional GPS lower price

The new 208 Active Pack starts at € 18,900 with the PureTech 75 engine, the same price as the Active Business model it replaces. The Allure Pack version is available from € 22,000 with the PureTech 100, or € 150 lower than the Allure Business. But these prices hide the disappearance of the standard GPS in the operation. To compensate, Peugeot reduced the price of the optional navigation system, which goes from 1000 € to 600 € with the 7-inch screen (from € 850 to € 450 on e-208) and from € 900 to € 650 on vehicles that can benefit from the 10-inch screen. Pack models with GPS are therefore priced the same as equivalent Business models. For the rest, the configuration of the Business and Pack versions remains almost identical. The 208 Active Pack thus offers, among other things:

LED spotlights;
electrically folding mirrors;
16 inch alloy rims.

Peugeot 208 GPS — The GPS, standard on Business, becomes optional on the new Pack finishes.

The Allure Pack model has in addition to the reversing camera and the digital dashboard in particular. Peugeot could continue to simplify its range in the coming months.
