300 grams basmati rice with extra fiber

150 grams snow peas

250 grams of green asparagus

2 tbsp Oriental wok oil

½ cucumber, in strips

3 spring onions, in slanted rings

100 grams bean sprouts

50 milliliters wok sauce ‘ketjap sesame’

juice of 1 lime
Preparation
1. Cook the rice according to the directions on the side of the package. Let the dry rice cool quickly to lukewarm in a wide bowl.
2. Remove the snow peas. Cut the green asparagus a piece from the stem, cut the asparagus into pieces of 5 centimeters and halve lengthwise if necessary.
3. Bring 500 milliliters of water to the boil, add some salt and cook the vegetables for 4 minutes. Let it drain. Heat the oil in the wok and stir-fry all the vegetables for 3 minutes on a high heat.
4. Whisk a dressing from the wok sauce and lime juice. Mix the rice with the vegetables and the dressing.
Tip: Serve with chicken from the grill, which you can find ready-made at the poulterer or in the meat department of larger supermarkets.
