After a few months of stoppage, production of the Grandland resumed at the German plant in Eisenach. On January 6, 2022, the first copies of the restyled version were released, the prices of which increased by 950 €, except for the plug-in hybrid.
Unveiled in June and then tested in August, the restyled version of the Opel Grandland should arrive at the foot of your Christmas tree. But that was without counting on the closure for a few months of the Eisenach factory and the grumbling of German trade unionists opposed to the Stellantis group’s plan to repatriate this entity under its jurisdiction and no longer that of Opel. After their small victory, the workers restarted their factory and the first restyled Grandland left the line on January 6, 2022. On the other hand, a bad surprise for French customers who have been ordering since the beginning of January, the manufacturer has increased the prices by 950 € on all petrol and diesel versions.
