It was already a year ago. On Friday November 13, 2015, around 9 p.m., a series of attacks in the heart of the capital and in Saint-Denis caused the death of 130 people, and 413 others were injured. A year later, 20 people are still hospitalized, 600 people are still being followed for psychological disorders and compensation continues.
This Saturday, November 12, 2016, on the occasion of the first commemoration of the attacks of November 13, the Fire Brigade, the Red Cross and the Civil Protection are organizing workshops throughout France in order to allow the public to discover “the gestures that save”.
The “Saturday that saves”
Free and open to everyone (from the age of 10), this “Saturday that saves” will address essential topics in the event of an emergency: what should I do if I witness a cardiac arrest? How do you help someone who is bleeding heavily? How to effectively contact the emergency services?
For organizational reasons, it is necessary to register in advance. The sessions will last between 1 hour and 2 hours depending on the sites. To find a workshop near you and register, go to the site http://www.comportementsquisauvent.fr : you can then contact the Red Cross, the Fire Brigade or the Civil Protection of your department. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
