Microsoft tests simplified Bluetooth options for Windows 11

Microsoft is currently rolling out an update for Windows 11, which is intended for testers. The update is all about simplified bluetooth options.

Windows 11 Build 22563 makes finding and pairing Bluetooth devices easier. You will find the list of available Bluetooth devices directly in the quick menu of the taskbar of the operating system. In addition, you can immediately see how much energy the battery of the devices still has, thanks to a handy battery indicator.

Microsoft releases new test version Windows 11

Offering the options directly in the quick menu of the new test version of Windows 11 allows users to connect (or disconnect) to the devices around them much faster. So they no longer have to open the menu, as is now the case. The new menu option takes inspiration from the Wi-Fi options of the quick menu; after all, within that section you can quickly make contact with networks around you, without having to open a window.

Because we are dealing with a test version of Windows 11 here, it is not yet possible to say whether Microsoft will roll out the update to everyone. And if that does happen, then at the time of writing we don’t know when that will happen. Since this is a very handy feature, which many users may be waiting for, there is a good chance that we will see these options in an update for the operating system soon.
