Microsoft will officially release an Xbox app for Samsung TVs later this month, which will allow you to play Xbox games without a game console.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can enjoy over 100 games stream to a Samsung TV from 2022. You stream games from the cloud; these are then on special servers, or modified Xbox Series X hardware.
The app works just like other streaming services. You choose the content (the game in this case) that you want to stream and you can start playing right away.

You will soon find the app in the gaming hub of your Samsung smart TV. After downloading and starting up, log in with your Microsoft account and you can immediately start streaming (provided you have that subscription, although you can play a game like Fortnite for free).
You can use different controllers for gaming. Think of the Xbox controllers, but also the controller of the PlayStation 5. You connect a controller via bluetooth. Furthermore, it is good to know that the resolution of the game does not exceed 1080p, at 60 fps.
It is not known when the app will be available for televisions from other manufacturers.
