This Mazda 2 Hybrid is not the first
Incidentally, it is not the first time that Mazda has entered into a collaboration. The old Mazda 121s were the same as the Ford Festiva and the Kia Pride. Also the other way around, because the old Mazda 2 was sold in America as Toyota Yaris. The only pity is that the new Mazda 2 Hybrid does not fit within the range at all. All Mazda models now wear a nose according to the Kodo design language. Even crazier is that Mazda just keeps the old Mazda 2 in the range.
The Mazda 2 Hybrid does not have a plug and charges while braking. Toyota calls this a Full Hybrid. A 1.5-litre petrol engine of 93 hp is assisted by an electric motor. Together they produce 116 horsepower, which is as much as the first-generation MX-5. The hybrid hatchback always comes with an automatic transmission. The other Tweetjes are available with a manual gearbox. Mazda’s newcomer accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 9.7 seconds and has a top speed of 175 km/h. The prices are not yet known.

Toyota is not the most difficult and likes to lend out designs. For example, you can now order the Swace from Suzuki, which is actually a Toyota Corolla. The new Suzuki Across is actually a RAV4.
