In 2023, the Toyota Corolla will receive restyling. In addition to the slight aesthetic changes, the compact hybrid will receive new generation hybrid engines, more powerful, as well as modernized technologies. The entry ticket will be €31,400.
More than a change of vintage, for 2023 the Toyota Corolla goes through the restyling box. Outside, the look evolves smoothly with a redesigned grille mesh, an updated light signature and new alloy wheels. The car also adds two colors to its catalog: Juniper blue and Atlas grey. The only compact in its segment to offer a 100% hybrid range, the Corolla is due to arrive in dealerships in March 2023. The entry-level Active will be displayed at €31,400. More power and technology
The great novelty is to be found under the hood since the restyled Corolla adopts the fifth generation of the hybrid system developed by Toyota. The electric part evolves, offering a little more watts at 1.8 and 2.0. They develop 95 hp and 113 hp respectively, against 72 hp and 113 hp previously. Thus, in aggregate, the power climbs to 140 hp (+ 18 hp) with the 1.8 engine and increases to 196 hp (+ 12 hp) with the 2.0. The Japanese compact features the latest generation home security equipment. There is a pre-collision system with intersection avoidance assistance, detection of cyclists and vehicles when doors open or even assistance in reducing speed in turns.
Like the Toyota RAV4, the Corolla sees its infotainment system modernized with a new 12.3-inch digital instrument panel that can be personalized from the second trim level, Dynamic. On the dashboard, the new 10.5-inch touch screen is also appearing on the Dynamic version. The entry-level will have to settle for an 8-inch panel. As standard, the compact hybrid benefits from Toyota Smart Connect for four years, giving access to connected navigation and traffic information. Finally, the new voice assistant allows you to control the multimedia system or the opening of windows.

Toyota Corolla Touring Sports Price (2023)
The Touring Sports station wagon variant is still offered and costs an additional €1,000 whatever the finish. It is worth pointing out that this body can receive the 2.0 engine with the Design finish, the top-of-the-range Collection and the GR Sport level. On the standard model, only the GR Sport finish is offered with the 2.0 block.
