Toyota’s compact SUV is taking advantage of the summer to simplify its range and… increase its prices by an average of €1,000. The entry ticket for this MY23 is now set at €32,750 with the 122 hp 1.8L hybrid engine. The 2.0 L version with 184 hp under the hood starts at €37,300.
Launched in 2016, the C-HR quickly established itself as one of Toyota’s bestsellers. The sharp design of this compact SUV, far from being banal, undoubtedly contributed to its success and during its restyling in 2019, Toyota took care not to touch too much on a popular plastic. A good idea since the success is undeniable and Toyota even allows itself today to increase the prices of a model which is nevertheless approaching the end of its career.
Entrance ticket at €32,750
The new price list for the C-HR thus increases on average by €1,000. Since the beginning of July, the entry-level Dynamic starts at €32,750 – with the 1.8L 122 hp engine – without the endowment being deeply revised. On the top-of-the-range GR Sport and Collection versions (now at the same prices), inflation is less marked with an increase of around €500.
A new designer finish
The tree structure of the range is also simplified with the disappearance of the mid-range Edition and Distinctive finishes, replaced by a single Design finish which is modeled on the price of the Distinctive. At this price the endowment is honest but still count an additional €1,200 for the techno pack which includes the JBL audio system, electrically adjustable and heated seats and the Toyota Smart Connect infotainment system. The new C-HR range is available to order for the first deliveries scheduled for the end of the year.
