After two weeks of heated parliamentary debate in the National Assembly, the Health Law brought by Minister Marisol Touraine has just been voted and adopted at first reading by the deputies, with 311 votes in favor and 241 votes against. It will then go to the Senate, before the implementing decrees are published definitively.
Among the 57 articles of the text, we find of course the generalization of third-party payment, a measure that made noise in the hemicycle as in the street, where the unions of doctors chanted their disagreement. But the Health Bill includes many other proposals, in particular on voluntary termination of pregnancy (IVG), tobacco, alcohol, blood donation, the organ donation or on the right to be forgotten cancer patients.
