The High Council of Public Health recommended to avoid that the vaccine against the seasonal influenza does not interfere with the vaccine against influenza A. It therefore advises to be vaccinated against the seasonal influenza as soon as possible.
Regarding the vaccine against influenza A, the people most concerned will be pregnant women, infants, people in their entourage of infants, people over 65 years of age.
The influenza A vaccine is given in two injections, spaced 21 days apart. This is also the time to wait between the seasonal flu shot and the A flu shot.
