April 22, 2019
Easter weekend is the time of year when chocolate is abused without remorse. But after the egg hunt, watch out for digestive disorders which are rarely very far away.
Eat less and lighter
France is the 13th country in the world to consume the most chocolate, with 4.5 kg per year per capita. But obviously Easter is a very special period, synonymous with chocolates of all kinds and thereforeindigestion, which causes stomach pain, nausea, vomiting or even diarrhea…
But how to avoid what is usually and wrongly called a “liver attack”? First advice quite simple to follow: eat less and lighter, in order to put less strain on his digestive system. Likewise, it will be better to eat in portions. Conversely, drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol as much as possible.
Do not lie down but walk after the meal
If the meal was heavier than pervu, it is advisable to do not lie down immediately after. Sleep will not come immediately, and according to specialists in terms of intestinal motor skills, it is not recommended. Indeed, in a standing position it will be easier for the digestive tract to act correctly. It is best to wait three hours before going to bed.
At last, remember to chew well and take the time to eat ! After all, parties are also times when you have to take your time, even at mealtimes. Then, if you can take digestive walks, it will be even better for your body: they will lower your blood sugar level (glycemia). Eating and moving will therefore be your credo for the weekend.
