Even while protecting yourself, it is rare that we spend the summer without getting sunburned! Here are some tips from grandmothers to naturally treat this slight, very painful burn …
In the summer sun burns are commonplace for many of us. We forget to (re) put some Solar cream, we are not wary of a cloudy sky, we think we are in the shade of the parasol while our lower back is in full sun … Despite our vigilance, a sunburn quickly happens! For us relieve naturally, here are some easy recipes to implement, even at the campsite!
Treat sunburn with a simple yogurt
Take a plain yogurt or cottage cheese, brush the burnt part with a thick layer and then put a cloth. Lactic acids will regenerate the skin while fats will heal and “cut off” the fire. The treatment is finished once the fabric gets hot (about 10 minutes). Do not hesitate to renew the operation if necessary!
Cucumber, salad, tomato, potato, melon … Seasonal vegetables and fruits save us!
On your sunburn you can apply:
- Slices of tomatoes, cucumber, melon, banana, apple or even potato.
- Salad leaves crushed beforehand to release the juices.
The egg relieves
Brush the egg yolk burn, rich in vitamins and nutrients, and let stand for an hour. Rinse gently and repeat until healing. the egg white, a source of natural collagen, is ideal for nourishing the weakened skin. Apply it to your skin as soon as the redness is gone.
The vinegar calms and heals
Mix equal parts apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar) and water. Wet a cloth and gently apply this preparation on the sunburn. the vinegar softens the skin and calms irritation.
