Judging by the badges, this is no longer a BMW
No, this isn’t a BMW M8 anymore. Just look at the badges on the nose and on the buttocks – there it says G-Power. This is the G-Power G8M Hurricane RR, a distant cousin of the BMW M8 and in every way more powerful, faster and more antisocial. He’s one of those who probably won’t be invited to the family barbecue until the last minute, hoping he won’t be able to do it then. With a top speed of 340 km/h, this converted BMW is even faster than the Alpina B8.
Specifications G-Power G8M Hurricane RR
Of course, the executioner does start as a BMW M8 Competition. The 4.4-liter V8 gets upgraded turbos, a larger air intake path, new pistons and reinforcements in the rest of the powertrain. The total power after the intervention is 900 hp and the torque is 1,050 Nm. A new 0-100 time is not mentioned, but we’re guessing it will dip below 3 seconds. A new rear spoiler helps keep the car on the road.
The rims of the G-Power G8M Hurricane RR are size 21-inch and a set of adjustable dampers lower the car a few millimeters. For the interior, G-Power is busy with a large piece of Alcantara. Of course, there are badges in the interior to remind you that you’re driving a G-Power G8M Hurricane RR – although we’re guessing the engine does that over and over again. If you don’t like the Hurricane RR as a coupé, G-Power will gladly tackle a Gran Coupé or a Cabrio for you.
