“Do androids dream of electric sheep?” is the title of an SF novel by Philip K. Dick and the basis for the movie Blade Runner. The makers of the artificial intelligence with which the computer can recognize pictures also wondered what such a system actually ‘muses’ about. They let the computer put objects in pictures that it thought it recognized, the way we sometimes see a certain animal when we look at a cloud.
