To be honest, coloring black and white photos using artificial intelligence is still a bit in its infancy. Often applications do recognize faces that they fill in with the correct hue, so they can be useful for old family photos. Certain natural elements (trees, sky) are sometimes correctly recognized, but often not or only moderately in old cityscapes. We will therefore ignore the commercial coloring apps that are available for the time being. However, nothing prevents us from playing with colorify which is free. And if we achieve good results, they are a bonus!
