There are many programs to catch regularly recurring typing under a shortcut. A year ago in this place we paid attention to beef text that fall into that category. The possibilities of that program have now expanded to such an extent that it deserves a new mention. With Beeftext you link short text fragments (such as ‘mvgr’) to longer ones (such as ‘Sincerely, Kees Konijn’). Because Beeftext runs in the background, it will work for any program that accepts text input. The system now also supports variables and emoji, making it very versatile.
