You have a bad habit of keeping your cellphonein the pocket ? Good news for your health, a young British physicist has unveiled his innovative project for anti-electromagnetic wave underwear. A supposedly formidable weapon to protect your genitals (and therefore your fertility) from the negative effects of these disruptors.
Mobile phones, wifi, relay antennas, microwave ovens and other bluetooth equipment, electromagnetic waves are everywhere. If their effects on health and the biological changes they generate are not precisely known, the World Health Organization (WHO) now recognizes that “radiofrequencies are possible carcinogens”.
“Wireless armor”, the anti-wave boxer shorts
Named “Wireless armor”, these boxers are made with 20% pure silver fibers and are supposed to protect the genitals of men 99% of the waves, especially when they have a cell phone in their pocket.
This project is funded on the Indiegogo crowdfunding site, and the boxer shorts will go on sale in June. It will cost 17 euros.
Recommendations to protect yourself from waves
If the experts from the National Health Security Agency (ANSES) have declared that electromagnetic waves are not harmful to health, they still recommend limiting exposure to electromagnetic waves. The Agency advises in particular the hands-free kit for intensive mobile phone users and advocates moderate use of the telephone among children.
It also asks that the “multiplication of the number of antennas in order to reduce the levels of environmental exposure be the subject of a thorough examination”.
And also wants devices emitting electromagnetic fields, intended for use near the body, such as phones, touch pads, baby monitors, etc., to display a maximum level of exposure as is already the case for phones portable.
