Drink enough water (at least 1.5L), cover your head, wear light clothes… Here are some classic (but effective) tips that we hear every year when big heat waves arrive. From this Monday, July 11, temperatures in France will rise and reach peaks at 38 or 39°C especially in the South-West or the Rhone Valley.
To avoid sunstroke or heatstroke, Santé Publique France also recommendsavoid going out during the hottest hours (from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the event of a heat wave), to get your body wet, to eat enough light, water-rich meals or to avoid physical exertion as much as possible.
