In the fall I always suffer from inflamed corners of the mouth. Is that due to a vitamin deficiency?

New. Often a little moisture remains in the corners of the mouth, especially while sleeping. As a result, the skin softens and fungi and bacteria can grow.
As a preventive measure, you can rub the corners of your mouth with a greasy ointment or lip balm. If you already have spots, zinc oil has a somewhat drying effect. If that does not help, you can try a remedy for (foot) fungus, such as miconazole.
If it still doesn’t go away, you can ask your doctor for an ointment with an antibiotic, such as fusidic acid.
