The marinating time allows all the flavors to soak into the chicken.
Ingredients

1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce

1 teaspoon five spice powder (mixture of star anise, sechuan pepper, fennel, cinnamon and cloves)

1 clove of garlic

2 small chicken breasts

2 tablespoons oil

3 teaspoons curry powder

400 grams green beans

1 onion
-
120 grams brown rice

2 tablespoons liquid margarine
Preparation
- Make a marinade from the soy sauce, the five-spice powder, the crushed garlic clove, 1 tablespoon of oil and some pepper.
- Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthwise.
- Brush the fillet pieces with the mixture and let it rest covered in the fridge for a few hours.
- Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
- Clean the green beans.
- Peel the onion and cut it small.
- Heat the margarine in a non-stick frying pan and fry the chicken pieces in it for 10 minutes until tender and brown.
- Boil the green beans in a little water for about 10 minutes.
- Fry the onion and curry in the rest of the oil and fry the rice.
- Serve the chicken and green beans with the rice.
