Business leaders and managers are pretty happy to get back to work. Their teams or their employees, less.
- More than one in two employees feels “depressed” for this start of the school year
- Nearly two out of three employees have no psychological support solution in their professional environment
As teleworking and vacations come to an end, employees and their managers are experiencing it completely differently, according to a new survey by mocha.care.
68% of leaders feel pretty good
Indeed, while managers and business leaders seem to be rather optimistic (28% are very optimistic and 44% quite well but with some apprehension), more than one employee in two approaches the start of the new school year with apprehension and/or pessimism (31 % feel a lot of fear and 22% say they are very pessimistic).
In detail, 68% of managers feel quite well, 64% enthusiastic and motivated and 59% serene and rested. On the other hand, 58% of employees say they are more tired than before going on leave and 51% are a little depressed. 42% are still enthusiastic and motivated to return to the office.
Little psychological support in companies
Moreover, if we look beyond the specific context of the return from vacation, still few companies set up psychological support. 64% of French people say they do not have access to mental health solutions within their company and 20% do not know if they exist. Among the 16% benefiting from this type of support, the only example cited is that of the provision of a professional psychologist within the establishment or remotely by videoconference.
