Avocado oil: made under a hot sun
To preserve all its nutritional qualities of the avocado tree, it grows slowly under a hot sun, in the heart of Mexico.
After 18 months of ripening, the fruits are picked by hand, sorted by size and quality. The skin and core are removed by a mechanical process. The flesh then undergoes cold pressing to render its pulp, of which the oil is 100% composed.
Water is added to the pulp obtained and the mixture is heated at 47° C. for 70 min. The mixture is filtered, water is added and the whole is heated to 47° C. then subjected to centrifugation. A new filtration is carried out as well as a cold pressing in order to separate the oil from the fibres. Once the oil is obtained, it is again filtered and bottled. For flavored avocado oils, natural extracts of coriander, lime and chilli are infused and blended into the avocado oil just before bottling.
Avocado oil: well-being benefits
Naturally cholesterol-free, rich in vitamin E (antioxidant), monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-6 and omega-3), (prevents the risk of cardiovascular disease and reduces the level of bad cholesterol in the blood) , contributes to a balanced diet in seasoning, cooking and even frying (only burns at 255° C without altering its nutritional qualities).
