The upcoming iPad will bring a major upgrade that we’ve all been waiting for.
Lots of news about Apple these days. This is because the Apple conference is on the agenda next week. This causes a lot of leakage. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman will make the iPad better with a major upgrade.
iPad with major upgrade
The next iPad operating system will have a big change in how the Apple tablet will be used. And before long, it will be on display at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, which begins next Monday, June 6.
The big change is one that has been at the top of many people’s wish lists for a long time: better multitasking. Apple has listened to the comments and made improvements. The iPad, especially when a keyboard is connected to it, is a consummate computer. As Apple’s recent ad said, “Your next computer isn’t a computer”. It is true that the iPad Pro is more powerful than many regular laptops.
Issue
But there’s one problem with using your iPad as if it were a MacBook with a touchscreen, and that’s multitasking. So it’s great news that iPadOS 16 will have a “redesigned multitasking interface that makes it easier to see which apps are open and switch between tasks,” as Gurman’s sources put it.
Gurman goes on to say, “It will also allow users to resize app windows and provide new ways for users to process multiple apps at once.” That’s pretty cool and overcomes many of the limitations the iPad currently has for productivity purposes. The new iPad is expected to be announced next Monday. After the announcement, there will be a developer beta, then a public beta, and the final general release software in the fall.
