Anbosyn is the name of the new food supplement against burnout (or professional exhaustion) which has been tearing up in pharmacies since its marketing last January. Developed by researchers from Bordeaux University Hospital, this supplement is supposed to reduce the effects of this malaise and professional fatigue which affects an average of 3.5 million people in France, or three in ten employees.
Burn-out or professional exhaustion syndrome which is defined by great fatigue and exhaustion due to work. Demotivation, irritability, anger, feelings of frustration and incompetence, isolation, loss of self-confidence, depression, even an attempt to suicide… There are many symptoms that should alert and lead to ease at the professional level.
But since Anbosyn has been on the market, there is a temptation to use it to deal with the burn-out rather than letting go and getting some rest. Concretely, the formula is composed of four natural active ingredients: eleutherococcus for its calming power, taurine for its energizing and antioxidant aspect, melon extract and casein, a milk protein.
Tested in a scientific study published in Revue of International Medical Research, this supplement would represent a good alternative to antidepressants and induce an improvement in the general condition in 76% of cases. However, the study specifies that these very positive results were obtained when the patient underwent psychotherapy in parallel. However, some consider these results to be unreliable, since the study was only conducted over 12 weeks and on 87 patients.
Asked by Europe 1, psychologist Christophe Bagot does not really believe in the beneficial effects of this dietary supplement over time. “It’s the magic potion myth, we’re down, and we start running again. […] Anbozyn may help people get back on their feet for a while, but that will not prevent them from relapsing later, “warns the specialist. So, if this supplement seems promising, it should not be used without taking it. psychological load Failure to do so, the exhausted employee risks relapsing quickly at the end of his treatment with Anbosyn, if however the latter has succeeded in reducing the burn-out.
