The Alpine A110s intended for the Rapid Intervention Teams (ERI) of the Gendarmerie are currently being delivered across France. 26 specially modified berlinettas are gradually handed over to law enforcement. First pictures!
The 26 A110 berlinettas ordered from Alpine by the Ministry of the Interior last December are currently joining the ranks of the Gendarmerie. Just out of the Durisotti workshops, which receives them from the Alpine factory in Dieppe to transform them for their future missions, they are carefully distributed between the ERI (Rapid Intervention Teams) who will use them.
With their 252 hp engine, the coupes are intended for high-speed interceptions. They are strictly original mechanically, and are equipped with the 18-inch tires and high-performance brakes that are offered as an option for all Alpine customers.
Added to this are the communication equipment, protections, lights and serigraphy specific to the Gendarmerie.
Enthusiastic Gendarmes
If we trust their publications on social networks, the atmosphere is worthy of Christmas within the brigades to which the Alpines have been assigned, and the gendarmes are eager to be able to try their new toys.
