Alfa Romeo delves into its past and unveils a special GT Junior series for its Giulia and Stelvio, in tribute to the GT 1300 Junior of the sixties. Both models feature a Lipari ocher shade and some distinctive details. The Giulia is available from € 63,400, the Stelvio from € 68,500.
Definitely, history inspires Alfa Romeo for its special series! After the “6C Villa d’Este” series unveiled at the end of September, the Giulia and Stelvio receive a new limited series called GT Junior. This one pays homage to the GT 1300 Junior from the 1960s. Almost 100,000 units sold between 1966 and 1976, it was based on the Giulia Sprint GT with a Bertone bodywork and an 89 hp engine.
A unique Lipari ocher shade
Alfa Romeo therefore offers its Giulia and Stelvio this exclusive GT Junior series, which is distinguished above all by a unique Lipari ocher shade from the “Old Timers” color range. This colourway is associated with 19-inch black rims for the sedan and 21-inch for the SUV. A few specific details such as monograms on the headrests and the dashboard are scattered throughout the cabin. Additional equipment completes the basic endowment, derived from the Veloce finish. The GT Junior are enriched with the assistance pack integrating level 2 semi-autonomous driving, the Harman Kardon HiFi system, front and rear parking radars or even the induction charger and the sunroof.
The Giulia GT Junior is available with a 2.0 turbo petrol engine of 280 hp associated with an AT8 automatic transmission. It is exchanged from 63,400 € and can receive a Q4 all-wheel drive for 2 400 € more. For the Stelvio SUV, it will cost at least € 68,500, with a single 210 hp diesel 2.2 proposal, necessarily associated with the AT8 automatic gearbox and the Q4 all-wheel drive.
