Home remedies for gingivitis
• A pomegranate or bramble mouthwash : boil a liter of water in which you have poured a handful ofpomegranate peel very ripe or a handful of wild bramble leaves. Boil for 5 to 10 m, filter and make mouthwashes with this infusion 3 times a day.
• A mixture of honey and red vine : pick young buds of red vine, crush them to obtain the juice and mix with a little honey. Gently rub the gums with this mixture.
• An olive oil massage : to firm up your gums, massage them regularly with virgin olive oil. Note that this same massage is recommended to keep the White teeth.
Home remedies for dental pain
• A turnip poultice : to calm a toothache provoked by a cavity, bake a large turnip in the oven and finely mash it into a paste. Apply this “mash” not on the tooth but behind the ear and along the neck, on the side where you have pain. Renew several times a day. You can apply the poultice on a gauze, but for maximum effectiveness, you need maximum contact with the active ingredients.
• Clove : it is undoubtedly the grandma’s remedy the most known. It is enough to chew a clove or place it on the diseased tooth to calm the dental pain. You can also place a drop of clove essential oil directly on the tooth: the anesthesia is almost immediate but on the taste side… you risk making a face.
Home remedies for canker sores
• A natural mouthwash : the baking soda cared for mouth ulcers (or gingivitis) at the rate of half a teaspoon in half a glass of water. To be used as a daily mouthwash. The decoction of carrot tops used as a mouthwash also activates the healing of the oral mucosa: boil a handful of carrot tops in a small pan of water. Leave to infuse for 5m, filter.
• Chewing blueberries or basil : to relieve and eliminate canker sores, chew a good tablespoon of blueberries. When the berries are drained of their juice, spit them out. You can also chew basil leaves.
• A methylene blue wash : methylene blue (to be ordered in pharmacies to have the right dosage at 2%) has been somewhat forgotten, yet it is a disinfectant and a bactericide which acts quickly. Take a cotton swab, dip it in the bottle and brush the inside of the mouth. When you swallow it, the product will be evacuated by the urinary tract so do not be surprised if you urinate blue !
How to make a mouthwash?
Fill your mouth with liquid as if you were drinking but keep it in your mouth for a long time, stirring it so that the solution is in maximum contact with your mucous membranes. Spit it out.
