We all know that fatigue and stress have repercussions on the health of our scalp. Consequence: an inflammatory reaction which leads to an acceleration of cell renewal … and elimination of dead skin at an excessive rate. If it sometimes takes a little time to find the right shampoo and antifungal active, a few “common sense” recipes can help cleanse our scalp and reduce the development of unsightly scales.
Wash your hair with lukewarm water and not with hot water, to limit any aggression. You can even finish the rinse with cold water, in order to slow down the activity of the sebaceous glands.
Massage your scalp two to three minutes when shampooing, without rubbing it. And alternate a treating shampoo and a mild shampoo so as not to sensitize the scalp.
Loosen cap or hat, the scalp must breathe. If you ride a two-wheeler, remember to wash the foam inside the helmet regularly.
Clean all your hair accessories with each shampoo (brushes, combs, elastics, barrettes), to remove all traces of sebum and the offending yeast.
Eat at least one green vegetable cooked daily to decrease the acidity of your entire diet. And don’t go overboard with coffees, sweets, dairy products, red meats and cold meats.
Rebalance with essential oils by applying a lotion with purifying oils that help rebalance the scalp, at least once a week.
