Breathing participates in the regulation of our nervous system, and allows us to control our emotions. It also helps us fight against fatigue by filling our cells with oxygen and eliminating waste from our body such as carbon dioxide and lactic acid. Good breathing helps reduce stress by increasing oxygenation to the brain and developing our body awareness. By controlling our breath, we manage to channel the flow of thoughts that invade us constantly.
