Chocolate fondant recipe
Ingredients for 6 people
- 200g chocolate
- 100g of flour
- 100g butter
- 4 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 1/2 tsp. c. fine salt
Recipe
- Beat the eggs in an omelette with the sugar.
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie.
- Leave to cool before pouring, whisking on the beaten eggs, then add the flour and salt.
- Pour into a 25 × 10 cm cake tin lined with parchment paper, then bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the oven preheated to 180°C (th. 6).
- Leave to cool completely before unmolding.

Chocolate fondant without butter
Melt 200 g of chocolate in a bain-marie. Off the heat, add 100 g of sugar, 200 g of finely mixed but thick homemade apple sauce, 3 eggs one by one, beating between each addition and 50 g of flour. Pour into a buttered mold and bake for 20 minutes in the oven preheated to 180°C (th. 6).
Gluten-free chocolate fondant
Melt 200 g of chocolate with 100 g of butter in a saucepan over a bain-marie. Add 120 g of sugar, then 4 eggs one by one, beating between each addition and 2 tbsp. at s. of cornstarch. Pour into a buttered mold and bake for 18 minutes in the oven preheated to 180°C (th. 6).
The vegan version of chocolate fondant
Melt 150 g of chocolate in 20 cl of coconut milk (open the brick, there shouldn’t be any left inside). Off the heat, add 80 g of sugar, 60 g of ground almonds and 60 g of flour. Pour into a mold lined with parchment paper and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the oven preheated to 180°C (th. 6).
The eggless version of chocolate fondant
Melt 200 g of chocolate and 150 g of butter in a bain-marie. Off the heat, add 150 g of sugar, then 15 cl of milk. Stir in 2 tbsp. at s. almond powder, 100 g flour and 50 g cornflour. Bake for 15 minutes in the oven preheated to 180°C (th. 6).
