WhatsApp has been much more than just a messaging service for years. And by that we mean sending dry text, with the occasional emoji, to each other. Over the years, the app got all kinds of features. Including making it possible to send GIFs just like Stickers. With the latter, Whatsapp has come up with a new function for Web.
With WhatsApp Web it is now possible to create your own stickers or import them for your collection. If you are a bit creative, you can make all kinds of stickers that others don’t have. The advantage of your computer is of course that you have a much larger screen. And it’s easier to make stickers with your mouse and keyboard than on your smartphone with just a touchscreen.
For now, the sticker maker can only be used in combination with WhatsApp Web on your computer. However, you can also expect an update for the app on desktop in the coming weeks. Then you will soon be able to make stickers from the app, instead of via WhatsApp Web in the browser. According to The Verge that rollout will take place in a week.
