REV Mobilities, a specialist in conversion to electric buses, utility vehicles and old vehicles, has just opened its first 100% electric vintage Volkswagen Combi rental agency in Vannes (56). Within 5 years, new agencies will emerge in other French regions.

A struggling autonomy…
Among the future services offered by the Bloom Campers agency, which has not communicated any prices:
- road trips,
- events, such as a rental for weddings,
- business seminars,
- festivals
- city tours.
Important precision, the autonomy of this Combi watté is approximately 130 km, which is not without penalizing your long-distance travel desires. Other pharmacies already offer rental of vintage Volkswagen Combis, these are models with their original mechanics. which have been restored.
6 retrofitted combis to come
The technical sheet indicates a 40 kW electric motor, the equivalent of 54 hp, a 25 kWh battery and a top speed of 140 km/h. We told you above, the range is limited to 130 km, but by opting for a 30 kWh accumulator for 3,000 € more, we can then hope to drive 170 km without plugging in. As you will have understood, you should not go too far from the electrical network or you will be stuck in the middle of nature. Or split your journey into stages.
A first Volkswagen T3 Combi was delivered to REV Mobilities in January 2022 as a witness demonstrator, a fleet of 6 models will soon join it. As a reminder, the company already has the conversion to electric mode of a Peugeot 504 coupé to its credit.
