He wasn’t striking enough
It looks a bit like you haven’t unlocked a character in a video game yet, but it sure is unique. The owner of this Mercedes-AMG G 63 with Brabus approach did not think his car was unique enough for the Netherlands, so he had a velvet wrap applied. He went to the same wrapper as the velvet Lamborghini Urus, whose driver subsequently lost his driver’s license in France a little later. Well, such a wrap stands out.
About the Brabus Widestar 800
The Brabus pulls no less than, as the name suggests, 800 hp and 972 Nm from the 4.0-liter V8. That is comparable to the horsepower of a Ferrari 812 Superfast. The accompanying performances are at least as spectacular. The Brabus 800 Widestar takes only 4.1 seconds of your time to reach 100 km/h. The top speed is 240 km/h. Not by an electronic limiter, by the way, but by a natural legal limitation.
The velvet wrap is not the only visual adjustment
Other adjustments on the Brabus 800 Widestar are the hood with air scoops, the extra lights on the roof, various grilles and the stainless steel double exhausts. Inside you will be showered with quilted leather. And you’ll find one of the best, if not worst, additions we’ve ever seen: a speedometer for the rear passengers. This Brabus Widestar 800 is therefore decorated with a velvet wrap.
