The Hummer H1 X3 is a unique version of the famous American 4×4, three times larger than the original model. This funny vehicle has just joined the off-road museum of Al Madam, in the United Arab Emirates.
Derived from the American army’s Humvee and seen in many Hollywood films, the Hummer H1 is an automotive icon. With its 2.20 m wide and 1.90 m high, it is also an imposing 4×4. But for Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, known for his off-road collection including some giant vehicles such as the world’s largest motorized Jeep Willys according to the Guinness Book, that was obviously not enough. Its off-road museum located in Al Madam, in the United Arab Emirates, has just added the Hummer H1 X3 to its catalog. Why “X3”? Because it is three times larger than the original model!

A Hummer almost 7 meters high
The Hummer H1 X3 is 14 m long, 6 m wide and 6.60 m high. Far from being a simple model, it is indeed a rolling vehicle, powered by four diesel engines and equipped with four steering wheels. No more precise technical sheet of the car has been communicated; therefore impossible to know its power or its weight but we imagine that it is not cut for speed. Stepping over mountains or at least dunes, on the other hand, seems perfectly within reach. Its ground clearance is the height of a classic car and its wheelbase stretches over nine meters.

A motorized building
More than a giant car, this Hummer turns into an apartment. Its interior, accessible by stairs installed under the car, is divided into two floors and includes a toilet and a kitchen ; however, the work is not yet complete.
The story does not say if the H1 X3 has parking aids to aid in parallel parking.
