Your own car paradise
Do you know the Nardò Ring? The test track in southern Italy where cars are tested at high speeds and over long distances. The 12.5 kilometer long track gives the opportunity to press the accelerator pedal as far as possible until the tank is empty. The photo above is not Nardò, but it does look a bit like it. This is Lang Lang, a place you’ve probably never heard of. The test track in Australia is also a big bowl with a circuit inside. But unlike Nardò, you have a good chance of buying this job. If you can put down enough money, you will get 876 hectares of land and 43 kilometers of refurbished asphalt.
How can I buy this test track in Australia?
Until 2020, Lang Lang was owned by Holden. But when that brand left for the eternal hunting grounds, the job went to the Vietnamese brand Vinfast. They had big plans for these and other Australian facilities. But because of the pandemic, all these plans ended up in the trash and they are stuck with a beautiful location that they can do nothing with.
Details about Lang Lang’s fate are as scarce as new Holdens. but there are two things we do know. Firstly, Vinfast sells everything in Australia. Second, they are closing this facility at the end of September. There is no official report yet that the test track will be sold in Australia, but that is the logical consequence of the aforementioned facts. So it looks like it’s a matter of throwing enough money on the table at Vinfast. So do you have a few millions left? Then this piece of car paradise can probably become yours.
