This new TV integrates everything you need for an evening of watching TV.
Television has evolved considerably since its inception. Not so long ago we sat with huge bells in our living rooms for an evening of watching TV. Fortunately, we now have flat screens. The internet has also entered the television landscape. Now Sky Glass comes with the next generation of TVs.
Sky Glass TV has everything
Our TVs are supplemented with all kinds of peripherals. Think of a DVD player, boxes, internet connection and so on. Sky Glass is a reaction against this sprawl, an all-in-one TV, set-top box, and soundbar that promises to eliminate the “clutter.” Sky Glass even has its own games pre-installed, though you’ll still need to bring your console for the serious stuff. It’s also the first true-blue Sky device that doesn’t require a satellite dish to connect, but delivers all content over the Internet.
In many ways, Sky Glass is the logical endpoint for the smart TV industry, a set that packs everything you need.
solid block
The design of TVs has become increasingly important. Most flat screen TVs try to keep their size to a minimum and gradually expand beyond the area where the power supply, motherboard and connectivity are located. This TV looks like a solid block.
The system in Glass is powered by a quad-core AmLogic ARM A55 system-on-chip. Despite the fact that Sky Glass is designed not to attach too many extra components to it, it does include a trio of HDMI 2.1 ports with support for CEC. One of the ports supports eARC for audio pass-through, but since the system has a built-in soundbar, it’s unlikely you’ll need it. The TV also supports Bluetooth 5.0, it has a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and WiFi 6. The device is available in several colors.
