Have you noticed how it is not always easy to find a balance and an impeccable hygiene of life, following the end of the year celebrations? The first of February has sounded and still, a few boxes of chocolates, fruit pastes or other blocks of foie gras remain here and there, making it difficult to return to a fulfilling relationship with our scales.
And then also, there are the greeting cards to write (greeting mails rather), the good resolutions to keep (“to do more sport”, “to eat healthily”, “to go out more”) and the cold which cheerfully nibbles us. as soon as you step outside. So we come home on Monday nights at the end of January, frozen, eaten away by the guilt of having once again passed before the gym by lowering his head, and cornered by the mountain of mails to which we still have not answered. Therefore, when we step through our door on the verge of implosion, this damn box of chocolate, which has taunted us daily for weeks, not having had the decency to disappear with the rest of its congeners during the authorized period (December 24 – January 8, for information), finally got the better of us. And on Tuesdays, it starts all over again.
Usually that’s how it goes.
But this year is niet. This year, we are taking action. It is February 1, two weeks before Valentine’s Day and five short months before the jersey test. So ! To survive the brutal transition from the euphoria of the holiday season to the emptiness to which it gives way, without falling into depression or into the boxes of chocolate, we urgently need to do ourselves good. To restart the machine gently in order to regain our energy and our health of body and mind.
