Tesla won’t let you game while driving

You have to come up with something else to do in the traffic jam. Tesla no longer wants you to play games while driving. That’s right.

It sounds bizarre, but it really happened. Playing a game on the big screen in a Tesla while driving. It was therefore not aimed at the driver, but at the passenger next to you. They could enjoy themselves with the range of games on the Tesla while you are engaged in driving. Unfortunately, in practice it turned out differently.

Drivers of a Tesla went to play a game themselves while driving. In addition, playing a game by the passenger could also distract the driver. For example, because the driver wants to see how well that passenger is doing. And then the eyes are not on the road, but on the touch screen in the car.

The American car manufacturer came under a magnifying glass from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The NHTSA announced this week that it is investigating the application. Tesla does not want to wait for the outcome of that investigation and is already taking action. The car brand has made it impossible to play games when the car is in motion.

Tesla’s lock on games comes through a software update for the car. Whoever wants to play Sonic or any other game on board the Tesla will have to put the car aside.
