Ingredients

1 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon coriander seeds

1 onion

200 grams of beef steak

1 tablespoon liquid margarine

1 tablespoon garam masala

1 bay leaf

600 grams of pumpkin

1 red pepper
Preparation
1. Toast the cumin and coriander seeds in a dry frying pan until fragrant.
2. Clean and finely chop the onion.
3. Cut the meat into strips.
4. Brown the meat on all sides in the hot margarine.
5. Fry the onion, roasted spices, garam masala and briefly.
6. Pour in 2 dl of boiling water with some salt and let the meat simmer for 1 hour.
7. Clean the pumpkin.
8. Cut the flesh into cubes.
9. Clean the pepper. Remove the stem and the seeds.
10. Cut the pepper into rings.
11. Add the pumpkin and the pepper to the meat and simmer for 30 minutes until done.
