The longer you let the meat simmer, the tastier it will be.
Ingredients

250 grams of beef steak

2 tablespoons liquid margarine

pepper

1 onion

1 thin winter carrot

1/2 tablespoon tomato paste

pinch of thyme

1 bay leaf

200 ml stock with less salt

400 grams of Brussels sprouts

4 wholemeal sandwiches
Preparation
- Cut the meat into large dice and sprinkle with pepper.
- Brown the meat in the hot margarine.
- Clean the onion and carrot. Cut the onion into pieces and the carrot into slices.
- Saute the onion and tomato puree with the meat.
- Add the carrot, thyme, bay leaf and stock. Put the lid on the pan and simmer the meat for 2 to 3 hours. Longer can and will only make it tastier.
- Clean the sprouts. Boil the Brussels sprouts in a little water for about 10 minutes. Serve them with the bread with the meat.
