When we talk about healthy food, we often think of boring raw vegetables, vegetables without sauce and potatoes without gravy. However, that time is long gone! With a little creativity you can make healthy, but above all tasty, dishes in a short time.
Ingredients
-
1 corn cob (about 300 grams)
-
1 onion
-
1 tablespoon corn germ oil
-
500 ml herb stock
-
100 grams spelled
-
1 green and 1 yellow bell pepper
-
3 tomatoes
-
1 teaspoon fresh herbs (thyme, marjoram, rosemary)
-
salt and pepper
-
cayenne pepper
Preparation
Boil the corn for 40 minutes. Chop the onion, heat the oil and fry the onion in the hot oil. Add the herb stock and spelled to the onion. Let the dish simmer on low heat for 30 minutes. In the meantime, cut the peppers into pieces.
Soak the tomatoes in hot water so that you can easily peel and dice them. Remove the corn kernels from the cob. Add these together with the bell pepper to the mixture 10 minutes before the end of the cooking time.
Pick the leaves from the herb sprigs and wash them. Add the herbs and tomatoes to the dish. Then season everything with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper.
Enjoy your meal!
