The brand that normally produces cars with more than 1,000 horsepower has now released a Bugatti scooter with less than 1 horsepower.
Striking news. A Bugatti with less than 1 horsepower, that can’t be a car. Isn’t it, because we’re talking about a scooter. Bugatti devised the product in collaboration with Bytech from New York. The luxury brand Bugatti now sticks its branding on everything that is loose and stuck. From razors to, in this case, a Bugatti scooter.
The scooter has a top speed of 28 km/h. The thing has several positions. Economy, with a limited top speed of 14 km/h. City, with a top speed of 20 km/h and Sport with the previously mentioned top of 28 km/h. It is not for nothing a product devised in America. Here in the Netherlands you have to deal with annoying legislation. You are not allowed to just ride an electric scooter without a license plate and insurance, for example.
The Bugatti scooter is blue in color, French Racing Blue of course, and the battery can be charged in about four hours. This two-wheeler is equipped with a 0.36 kWh battery and the driving range is 35 kilometers. Partly thanks to magnesium, the scooter weighs 16 kg and the thing is foldable.
The Bugatti Bytech scooter will be sold in the United States. A price has not yet been announced.
