Because of sleeping troubles can have consequences on health, the national campaign “To each his sleep” born in 2018, resumes in 2019 but this time on the Internet. The objective of this campaign led by the Association France Insomniaand the Pileje laboratory is twofold: inform the general public about the consequences of disturbances sleep and sensitize it to individualized care. If you suffer from insomnia, difficulty falling asleep, nocturnal awakenings or sleep apnea, professionals will provide you with solutions during video chats organized throughout the month of March.
The campaign program
The campaign starts today at 12:30 p.m. on the site www.achacunsonsommeil.fr with a conference on Sleep: your best dream or your worst nightmare? moderated by Dr Patrick Lemoine (psychiatrist and doctor in neurosciences specializing in sleep) and Dr Marc Beck (general practitioner, phytotherapist and micronutritionist). The other meetings:
- March 13: online video workshop on the topic Find natural sleep, led by Dr Arnaud Metlaine, hospital practitioner at the sleep and vigilance center of Hôtel-Dieu Paris, specialist in sleep pathologies and occupational pathologies.
- March 14: video chat at 12:30 pm hosted by Dr Patrick Lemoine on the topic Doctor, I don’t sleep well… (nocturnal awakenings, restless legs).
- March 19: online video workshop on melatonin, led by Dr François Duforez, sleep doctor, practitioner attached to the Hôtel-Dieu de Paris, sleep and vigilance center, founder of the European Sleep Center (Paris).
- March 21st : video chat at 12:30 am hosted by Dr Marc Beck on the topic When stress disrupts sleep.
- March 26: video chat at 12:30 pm hosted by Dr Patrick Lemoine on the topic Doctor, I sleep too much and I snore, do I have any sleep apnea ?
- March 28: online video workshop on foods that promote sleep led by Dr Laurence Benedetti, nutritionist doctor.
