A small facelift with nice improvements
After half a million copies sold, the Skoda Karoq is due for a facelift. The average (the Kamiq is smaller, the Kodiaq larger) gets a breath of fresh air with standard LED lamps, new driver assistance systems and a standard digital counter. The screen behind the wheel measures 10.25 inches and is accompanied by an 8-inch screen in the center of the dashboard. Optionally, this screen grows to 9.2 inches. Incidentally, the first batch of Karoqs will still be available with old-fashioned counters.
Eco package for the interior
For those who are concerned with the cows, but who are still a fan of (sort of) leather upholstery, there is the eco package. When checking this option, Skoda will install seat covers made from recycled PET bottles and vegan leather in the cabin. Handy: with the Skoda Karoq facelift, an electric passenger seat with memory function can now also be ordered. Laura, the digital voice assistant, chats in fifteen languages.
Engines Skoda Karoq facelift
In the Netherlands, the new Karoq appears with a choice of two petrol engines. The entry-level is a 1.0-litre with 110 hp and a manual gearbox. Then there is a 1.5-litre with 150 hp with a manual gearbox or a DSG automatic. The new crossover should appear in the Netherlands next year. Prices are yet to be announced.
