What if Porsche returned to the 24 Hours of Le Mans with an unprecedented prototype based on the Taycan electric sedan, and close to the 911 GT1 of the 1990s? It is in any case the fruit of the imagination of a Spanish designer, who published the fruit of his work on Instagram.

This is what a young Spanish illustrator imagined, taking inspiration from the 911 GT1 Evo from the 1990s …

Hakosan’s dream
Regularly, 25-year-old graphic designer publishes 3D renderings of his projects on his account Instagram Hakosan_design. This time, the young man decided to pay tribute to the Porsche 911 GT1 and 911 GT1 Evo, cars entered in the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 1996 and 1998. It is, moreover, with this prototype that the brand won the Le Mans test in 1998, ahead of Toyota.

Armed with its graphic palette, Hakosan_design has completely reworked the Porsche Taycan that we know: the rear doors have been removed, a huge shark fin has been installed on the rear part, unrecognizable. Various aerodynamic elements like a perforated hood, another spoiler or additional air intakes are placed here and there. The Taycan’s headlights are shown at the front, while the full-width light strip is also shown in the illustration.
