It’s not just the Peugeot Traveler that catches the eye of van fitters. Its little brother, the Rifter, of which only the electric version remains in the catalog, is available in a motorhome version, in Germany, at Vanderer.
The vans are on the rise! Also, planners exercise their talents on the many proposals present in the manufacturers’ ranges. The German Vanderer has just tackled the Peugeot e-Rifter, the “small” electric van from the lion brand.

Recreational vehicle during the week, van at the weekend?
Small, everything is relative because in order to offer maximum comfort to campers, Vanderer opted for the long L2 version of the Rifter, the one that displays a format of 4.75 m. For the record, a so-called L1 version is more compact: 4.40 m. Clever, the equipment is grouped together in a removable module, by two people and that without tools. Thus the vehicle can be used professionally or with the family the vehicle during the week and, as a motorhome, on weekends and/or during holidays. Kitchen with fridge and sink as well as beds for four people are on the program.
A range of 270 km and a charge of 30 hours
However, it will be necessary to carefully establish the journey before leaving because the battery with a capacity of 50 kWh only allows a range of 270 km on a single charge. We will then praise the possibility of recovering 80% of the charge in just thirty minutes. On a specific fast terminal however. Because with a domestic socket, the complete filling of the accumulator requires 30 hours. The Peugeot e-Rifter Vanderer is offered on the German market at a price of €65,480, marketing in France is currently not on the agenda.
