January 26, 2001 – A study carried out in one of the major homeopathic hospitals in the United Kingdom, the Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital, has just shown, once again, that homeopathic treatments can be effective.
Fifty-one people with allergic rhinitis to house dust or pollen were divided into two groups receiving personalized homeopathic treatment or a placebo.
After four weeks of treatment, allergy symptoms improved by 28% in the experimental group (receiving homeopathic treatment) and only 3% in the group receiving placebo. The study, published in the British Medical Journal, one of the most prestigious medical journals, confirms the results of 3 other previous studies on the same subject.
