The struggle for the motherhood of Lilacs continues. The midwives involved in the safeguard of their health establishment dared to take the naked photos to soon publish a calendar which will be used to raise funds.
This pioneering establishment of painless childbirth, a major place of respect for the right of women to dispose of their bodies, has been offered to integrate disused premises in Montreuil. It is in the short term the death of the establishment and its medical project that the Regional Health Agency (ARS) is proposing with this new “alternative” project. Indeed, this choice proposed by ARS is not at all adapted to the needs and structure of La maternité des Lilas.
La Maternité des Lilas has been carrying out a militant and innovative medical project for 50 years. This project implemented by a united team does not seem to be to the liking of the Regional Health Agency (ARS).
Indeed, instead of working on the development of such a motherhood, this place where the human birth of being and its future for a peaceful society is thought of, the government, through the LRA, persists in wanting to reduce it to fill the disused space of the old maternity hospital in Montreuil, completely unsuited to the needs of the medical project of the Maternité des Lilas, even though on the site, at great expense, a new woman-mother center has just been inaugurated. – luxurious child. And structurally and geographically dislocate and reduce a team that has taken 50 years to found a group that listens to the needs of women, couples and children.
” Instead of the initial project which was promoted and validated by the public authorities, the decisions of the ARS condemn the maternity hospital of Lilas to a discounted, unacceptable project and, ultimately, to make it disappear from the already underprivileged medical landscape of 93 », Recalls the maternity support collective.
The support collective has uploaded a petition to support their project.
The twelve photos taken by a Roland Leclerc, physiotherapist at the maternity hospital, will soon be published in a calendar which will be sold to raise funds.
